Tamale: CEO of iNeat Studios launches “Say No To GMB” Campaign
The eviction of Sulemana Zara two weeks ago in the ongoing 2019 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant certainly did not go down well with majority in the Northern Region following the program.
Viewers of the Sunday night reality show on Media General’s TV3 network in the region resorted to social media to register their disagreement with the judges decision to evict Zara indicating it was a “Total Cheat”.
Some them including Zara’s team argued she was doing well week after week with her performance and getting the maximum amount of votes from her fans and other members of the public.
Following this development, Chief Executive Officer of iNeat Studios, Mohammed Baba Musah, widely known as Kulu Mallangah is urging young ladies in the Northern Region to stay away from the GMB franchise.
Mallangah has thus, launched a social media campaign dubbed “Say No To GMB” aimed at discouraging prospective contest against the pageant.
According to Mallanga, organisers of the event are taking the people of the North for a ride because they know Northerners will go at any length to vote.
He therefore called on sons and daughters of Dagbon Kingdom to boycott the GMB and organise its pageant.
I wish our northern sisters could stay away from this GHANA MOST BEAUTIFUL thing. Huge Sum of money spent on voting but ended up in a fiasco.
So it is crystal clear that we have been used [because] they know how northerners will go any length to support our contestants in any competition especially with votes.
Now we have our KING and our kingdom is peaceful so why not organise our own beauty pageant with high recognition and support from all stakeholders and our chiefs.
Is it the car our kingdom cant afford or the crown?
The cheating was very clear and we must react to this. Something coming up soon. Watch this space.
