Akufo-Addo government has created 3 million jobs in 4 years – Baffour Awuah

The Minister for Employment and Labour Relations Ignatius Baffour Awuah says the Akufo-Addo government has created three (3) million jobs in the last four years.

According to him, as at September 2020, three million Ghanaians gained employment both in the public and private sector.

Mr Baffour-Awuah made these remarks on Tuesday, 16th February when he appeared before the Appointments Committee for vetting.

“On May 1, 2018, I indicated that the government of Presis Akufo-Addo has created approximately one million jobs,” he stated.

He added “But now, I can say for the record that this government has created three million jobs. That’s with the combination of both the public and private sector.
