All Covid-19 patients in Upper East have fully recovered

Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye says the Covid-19 treatment center in the Upper East Region has been closed.

This comes after all persons who contracted the disease in the region have fully recovered.

Dr. Kuma-Aboagye made this known today (Tuesday), at a press briefing at the Minsitry of Information.

He noted the Isolation (treatment) center will remain closed until a new case of Covid-19 is recorded.

The Upper East Region out of the 6,964 case count had 64 recorded cases.

Only one (1) person out of the 64 patients died.
