Ataaka recieved threats from 69 fans before his attack – Management

Management of rap artist Ataaka have accused the 69 fan army, a movement affiliated with Maccasio of allegedly attacking the Taaka Music signee after both artists engaged in a lyrical diss.

The incident reportedly took place Friday night, April 17 at about 10:30pm at Kokuo, a suburb of Tamale in which the rapper was pelted stones.

A spokesperson of the label, Awal Awal, told TamaleOnline News Ataaka known in private life as Yakubu Issah received threats from some members of the 69 movement and others via SMS.

According to him, the Last Show rapper sustained injury at the back and was rushed to the Tamale Central Hospital for treatment.

He added the matter has since been reported to the Northern Regional Police command for the perpetrators to be brought to book.

Awal also revealed the phone contact(s) and other evidence have handed over to the police for investigation.
