Businesses and famers in Yendi needs technological expertise to grow – Farouk Aliu Mahama

Aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Yendi constituency in the Northern Region, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama is poised to digitize the business and agricultural sector in the Yendi Municipality.

The son of late former vice president under the John Kuffour administration believes small businesses and farmers in the constituency needs technological expertise to grow.

According to him, he will crest the “Yendi Hi-tech Employment Database” to support agricultural activities and the information technology sector.

“We are going to create Yendi Hi-tech Employment Database to support Agriculture and Information Technology sectors. Our small business owners and Yendi farmers need technological expertise to grow.”

Alhaji Farouk stated in a Facebook post.

Farouk Aliu Mahama’s passion for agriculture and youth empowerment in Yendi is not in doubt following numerous investment in the sector.

He has undertaken several projects through his Partnership for Poverty Reduction (PPR) with the distribution of agricultural inputs to improve farming in Yendi.

The New Patriotic Party (NPPP) will open the second window for nominations for its parliamentary primaries at a later date in 2020.

Alhaji Farouk, a Deputy Procurement Manager at Ghana’s Cocoa Board has assured delegates and constituents to deliver good leadership, development and peace if given the mandate to represent the party in the 2020 elections.
