Coronavirus: Foreign Affairs Minister confirms death of 3 Ghanaians

Three Ghananain nationals living in abroad have been killed by the Coronavirus. Madam Sheirley Ayorkor-Botchway, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Intertegration has indicated.

The Anyaa-Sowutuom legislator made these remarks while addressing the parliamentary press Wednesday afternoon.

According to her, two persons died in Italy which has the highest number of recorded cases aside China, while one person died in Denmark.

One of the deceased persons the Minister added was aged 69.

The Covid-19 virus infection has risen to over 200,000 cases and more than 800,000 deaths since its outbreak in 2019.

Ghana has recorded seven (7) infections cases of the disease imported from abroad and has employed measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.

Conferences, Workshops and other public gathering has been suspended for a month whiles schools have been shut down by government until further notice.
