Students at all campuses of the University for Development Studies (UDS) have up to Friday, 20th March to leave for their respective homes.
This in conformity with President Akuffo-Addo’s directive to closed down both public and private schools indefinitely as part of measures to contain the Coronavirus pandemic.
A statement signed by Dr. A.B.T Zakaria, Registrar of the University and sighted by TamaleOnline News said all academic activities has been suspended with immediate effect until further notice.
UDS has also directed students occupying private hostels to go home, whiles international students have been advised to stay in the respect hall and cautioned not to allow visitors.
The statement added “all lecture rooms, laboratories and University libraries will be closed to students from Friday, 20th March, 2020 until further notice.”
