I write to extend my warm congratulations on your election for a renewed FLAG BEARER of our party, the National Democratic Congress to lead us into victory 2020.
This election was one of the most competitive in our party’s history. Once again, the delegates demonstrated their commitment to democracy by voting in largely free, fair and peaceful process. We are confident that under your renewed mandate, the unity of the party will be strengthened by including your competitors on the 2020 campaign platform to secure the one touch victory for the National Democratic Congress.
I reiterate, Our party has emerged from one of its most hard fought battles for the presidential primaries in our history. We must forgive each other, redeem each other, regroup, and move on us one big umbrella family. We need to come come together. We can survive without each other. But we cannot win and make progress without each other. We must come together.
I firmly believe that under your renewed stewardship the National Democratic Party will be taken back into government to write the wrongs of the past and to rescue the Ghanaian people from the hardship and insecurity under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo insecure Ghana. Ghanaians will expect our party’s next government a successful widen economy, sustainable jobs, equal opportunity, and good governance.
