Information reaching TamaleOnline News indicates that Dr Alhassan Sulemana Anamzooya, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Northern Development Authority (NDA) has been relieved of his position.
Grapevine sources say Dr Anamzooya’s dismissal was orchestrated by the Board Chairman Dr Hakeem Waimah and his deputies.
According to information gathered at the NDA, Dr Anamzooya has been at loggerheads with Dr Waimah and some board members over some contracts.
Dr Anamzooya was appointed as CEO of the NDA in 2019 following the dismissal of Dr Alhaji Abdul-Majeed Haroun over the missing tricycles saga.
The Northern Development Authority (NDA) formerly Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), was set up by an Act of Parliament, Act 963, 2017 to provide a framework for the accelerated economic and social development of the Northern Development Zone (NDZ) and for related matters.
