National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Kumbungu has constructed two boreholes for the people of Zangalun Kukuo and Zugu Yipelpu in the Kunbungu District of the Northern Region.
Dr Hamza Adam commissioned the projects at two separate events on Thursday, July 9, 2020 aimed to provide portable drinking water for residents.
According to him, “This adds to a number of these interventions in several other communities.”
Access to portal drinking water is one of the challenges confronting the residents in the area.
Reports indicates that residents some districts in the Northern Region including Kumbungu mostly rely on untreated water sourced from the dams (or dugouts) for household use.
However, Dr Hamza Adam pledged to use his networks to address these challenges.
He said similar of such projects are at various stages of completion lobbied through a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
“As a server of my constituents, I pledged to bring in more development in various spheres of life.” Dr Adam stated.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries thanked the NDC candidate for the kind gesture.
