Fancy Gadam wins Most Promising Act at 37th Int’l Reggae & World Music Awards

Ahmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known in showbiz circles as Fancy Gadam, has won the Most Promising Artiste at the 37th edition of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

The event took place last night at the plush Pegasus Hotel in Kingston Jamaica.

The is the first major international award earned by the Gadam Nation President after failed attempts at the UK version of Ghana Music Awards and Ghana Entertainment Awards USA last year.

The IRAWMA was established in 1982, is to  acknowledge and honor the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists, including: songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians. 

Meanwhile, the “Total Cheat” smash hitmaker is hoping to win the 2019 Male Act of the year at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA later this year.
