Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for the Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama and the campaign team have expressed sadness about the death of Abdul-Fataw (Fasco Dagomba), a loyalist of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He died Thursday morning, 17th October, 2019 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).
Alhaji Farouk, first son of former Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama in a communique issued by the FAM Communications Team described the late Abdul-Fataw as “a distinguish gentleman”, and a “great son of Dagon”.
“He worked tenaciously for Yendi NPP and will never be forgotten. We will always remember him as his spirit continue to guide and inspire us in our struggle for greater heights in the Constituency. Posterity will celebrate FASCO as one of the great patriot who contributed his widow’s mite in shaping the course of our noble party.”
Fasco Dagomba was buried in Yendi according to the Islamic doctrine Thursday, 17th October, 2019.
