Farouk Aliu Mahama to the rescue; pledges to fix Yendi mortuary

Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Yendi, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has pladged to provide a ferigirator for the Yendi Government Hospital.

The son of former Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama revealed his intentions to equip the morgue next week on Facebook sighted by TamaleOnline News.

“I pledge to fix yendi mortuary next week”

Alhaji Farouk wrote.

The facility for over a year has been without equipment to store dead bodies which became a major problem for residents.

The timely intervention by Alhaji Farouk came on the back of public outcry by residents in the municipality.

One of them in a viral video published by TamaleOnline News complained the scenes at the matuary is an eyesore as relatives sometimes are not able to access nor identity of a deceased person.
