The Former Mayor of Tamale, Honorable Abdul Rahman Abdul Hanan Gundadoo has today, 10th July, 2019 picked the Parliamentary nomination forms to contest the Tamale Constituency Parliamentary primaries.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) opened the picking of nomination forms for prospective candidates for its nationwide parliamentary primaries scheduled in August 2019.
Receiving the forms from the Constituency Chairman, the Parliamentary aspirant assured the Constituency Chairman together with executives and party faithfuls present of a decent campaign and pledge to build an Ultra-modern Constituency office for a smooth running of the party in the Constituency.
Tamale Central Constituency is the heartbeat of Northern Region and as such, the heart deserves a calm rhythm for healthy living. Delegates of the great NDC in the constituency should elect someone who will serve with humility, hard work and integrity.
As an urban constituency, we need someone with the right and useful energy, quality and accessible leadership, and committed to the constituency. Tamale Central Constituency should not be seen as a dumping site for rejected candidates from whom in their records can best be described as a frog – indecisive!
Hon. Abdul Hanan Abdul Rahman Gundadow, an International Chartered procurement professional and an IT expert, brings on board his rich experience as a former Assemblyman, a Former Presiding Member and the immediate past Mayor of Tamale Metro.
Hon. Gundadow in his days as the Mayor was referred to as “Tuma Lana” “Daa Naa” amongst others during his days in office and this is a motivation for delegates and constituents at large to entrust Tamale Central in his Humble hands.
His enviable achievements as Mayor of Tamale Metro cuts across from youth development, trade, transportation, education, water and sanitation and they are evidence of his complementary leadership style.
Hon. Gundadow is well vest with the issues confronting Tamale Central and is more than ready to continue the good works of our outgoing Member of Parliament, Hon Inusah Fuseini.
