From a Mechanic to Music Icon: Maccasio’s ‘Zero2Hero’ Album to inspire younger generation

Zola Music and 69 president, Maccasio’s fourth studio album christened “Zero2Hero” is due to be released in January 2020.

The album launch will be characterized by a “Zero2Hero” concert Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

The album, “Zero2Hero” is aimed to inspire the younger generation of up and coming rappers (musicians) to chart a path to greatness through hard work and dedication regardless of any form of frustration or destruction.

It also chronicles Maccasio’s journey from being a “Roadside Mechanic” to now an iconic musician in Ghana, performing on the biggest platforms and winning awards both in Ghana and at international level.

However, the journey hasn’t been an easy one in the last 5-years when the Dagomba Girl hit maker officially broke into the showbiz industry in 2015.

Born Sheriff Abdul-Majeed, Maccasio also has one of the biggest fan base in the country.

The 69 fans continues to grow both in Ghana and abroad.
