The Member of Parliament for Nalerigu/Gambaga constituency, Hajia Alima Mahama on Saturday toured some registration centers in the constituency to acquaint herself with the process of the ongoing exercise.
Accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Abdul-nashir Danladi and some executives of the constituency, She interacted with the registration officials at the various centers to ascertain the challenges confronting them.
She expressed satisfaction about the exercise and urged the registrants to continue to adhere to the COVID 19 safety protocols.
Hajia Alima who is the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development used the opportunity to distribute hand sanitizers to officials and registrants at all the centers.
She urged the public to come out in their numbers to register for the voter’s ID card to enable them exercise their franchise in the 2020 Presidential and parliamentary elections.
As part of the tour, the MP inspected work on the regional health directorate Bangalore in Gambaga and the Gambaga University College New site.
