Health Facilities in Daboya receive PPEs to boost Covid-19 fight

The Savannah Regional Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has donated Personal Protective Equitment (PPEs) to two health facilities in the North Gonja District in the Savannah Region.

Mr. Mohammed Issah presented items boxes of hand sanitizers, face masks and hand gloves to the Daboya Polyclinic and the Lingbinsi Health Center to boost the fight against COVID-19 in the district.

Speaking with tamaleonline.net, Mr Issah said the donation was part of the good works of the NPP in the region at large and applauded health workers for their selfless service to the course.

Mr Issah further admonished the health personnel and people in the area to continue to follow the safety protocols to protect lives in the wake of the global pandemic that has already claimed over one million lives around the world.

At the Langbinsi Health Center, heads of the facility appealed to the government through the NPP Communications Director, to assist in the completion of a project started by the health center to accommodate more patients.

However, 46 persons in the Savannah Region have been infected with Covid-19 out a national case count of 20,085.

A total of 14,870 have fully recovered and discharged whiles 122 have died.

Voter ID Registration

After the presentation led a deligation of NPP’s Regional Communications Directorate proceeded to some registration centers in Daboya to observe the exercise by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

Mr Issah and his team expressed satisfaction after monitoring the ongoing registration after monitoring the exercise.

He urged his party (NPP) members to come out to take part in the exercise to enable them vote in the December 2020 General elections to retain President Akufo-Addo and also vote their Parliamentary Candidate.
