Former President John Dramani Mahama has has registered for his voter ID at the Bole District Assembly Electoral Commission’s registration centre in the Savannah Region.
The flagbearer of the opposition NDC for the 2020 elections picked up his ID today (Wednesday), after successfully going through the registration process.
With just a day to end the registration, Mr Mahama after acquiring his ID admonished citizens to get their to vote in forthcoming general elections in December.
Addressing a large crowd after the exercise, Mr Mahama also urged them to get their ID cards and vote out the “non-performing” Akufo-Addo led NPP administration out of office.
He promised the return of the NDC on 7th January, 2021 will restore peace and unity of the country.
He added his administration will also restore economic prosperity and protect the people against Coronavirus.
However, the former President later visited the Chief of Bole, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I.
