John Mahama receives draft copy of NDC’s “People’s Manifesto”

The Manifesto Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have submitted a draft copy it’s “People’s Manifesto” to John Dramani Mahama.

He received it from the Party’s Manifesto working committee led by former Health Minister under the Atta-Mills adminstration, Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo today at his Contoments residence in Accra.

Mr. Mahama said the “People’s Manifesto” represents a social contract between the NDC and the people of Ghana.

“I have received a copy of our manifesto for the December 2020 elections from the Manifesto Working Committee. This document, The People’s Manifesto, will represent the NDC and my social contract with the good people of Ghana. I thank you all for your contributions to the compilation, and as I have promised, I look forward to the Policy Dialogue Series through which I will be sharing details of the various sectors and themes of the Manifesto.”

The NDC’s flagbearer said in a Facebook post.

However, the Party said the People’s Manifesto will be lunched in August 2020.

Meanwhile, the former president is yet to announce his running mate for the 2020 elections.
