Majeed Waris deserves a call-up to the Black Stars – Prince Mukadi

Head Coach of the Black Stars, C.K Akonnor will in the coming days announce his squad to face Sudan for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifers after monitoring some Ghanaian players abroad.

Ahead of the announcement, Northern Ghana’s finest Sports Journalist, Halid Prince Mukadi Gbramoni has called for the inclusion of striker Abdul-Majeed Waris into the final 23 man-squad to face to the North African side.

According to the Zaa Sports host, the FC Porto attacker currently on loan at Racing Club de Strasbourg has been impressive in performances in the French League 1 since joining the club.

“Waris is playing well at club level and I’m sure the coach has taken notice of that during his monitoring tour. He is enjoying a lot of playing time and the fitness level is on point,”

Prince Mukadi noted.

He added “he has so far found the back of the net twice and provided two assist in his last five games.”

Prince Mukadi further stated the former Lorient forward is a good material for the Senior National team and will be disappointed if he is not given a call up against the Sudanese.

Ghana host Sudan in an Afcon qualifying match on March 27 at the Cape Coast Stadium and the return match will be on March 30 in Khartoum.
