Education Minsiter Mathew Opoku-Prempeh has refuted claims students of public schools will be writing their end of term (semester) exams online.
The Minister made the clarification following rumors of some schools making arrangements to conduct their exams online.
“There is no public school conducting exams online,” Mr. Opoku-Prempeh told Serwaa Amihere on GH TV Wednesday.
President Akuffo-Addo through an Executive Instrument (EI) closed down both public and private schools untill further notice following the outbreak of Covid-19.
Students at the tertiary level, SHS and basic schools have since been taking lessons on at home whiles some parents have contracted the services of private teachers.
Mr. Opoku-Prempeh admitted a proposal for an online examination was made but explained that it would be impossible to assess students online since some people cannot have access to the internet.
