Mubarak Wakaso donates to Yaa-Naa, Yo-Naa, Mion Lana to fight COVID-19

Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has provided some items to the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa-Naa Abubakari Mahama II towards the fight against the Novel Coronavirus disease Tuesday, 31st March at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi.

A similar exercise was done for Chief of Mion, Mion-Lana Mahamudu Abdulai and his brother and Chief of Savelugu, Yo-Naa Yakubu Andani.

Items presented include Veronica buckets, boxes hand sanitizers, boxes liquid soap and other accessories to the respective palaces in the Dagbon Kingdom.

The presentation was done on behalf of the Jiangsu Suning FC icon by his executive assistant Muba Kafabah Afajia and Mohammed Hafiz G-Face (Mr. Trender) Tuesday, 31st March and 1st April, 2020.

The gesture by the 29 year-old midfielder is aimed to support and encourage the respectable traditional authorities and their subjects to protect themselves against the global pandemic.

An elated Yaa-Naa thanked the Ghana international and his team for the kind gesture and prayed for him (Wakaso) to have an everlasting career.

However, the team led by Muba Afajia and Hafiz G-Face at a seperatd event distributed hundreds of hand sanitizers to vulnerable traders at the Yendi Market to help protect themselves against the Covid-19.

Dr. Seidu Fiter who was also part of the entourage sensitized drivers, traders and passengers about the health protocols and preventive measures against the virus.

He also admonished them observe regular handwashing with soap under running water as well as keeping a clean environment at all times.
