Musician Gonga Zamani bags nomination at Ghana Youth Awards 2021

Popular Tamale-based singer Mohammed Ibrahim widely known in Showbiz circles as Gonga Zamani has been nominated for the maiden edition of the Ghana Youth Awards.

The self-acclaimed Northern Music “Headmaster” has been nominated for the Youth Artist and Social Media Brand Influencer of the year category.

He will be competing with other nominees from across the country for the coveted award.

The Ghana Youth Awards is a prestigious awards program that recognizes and rewards excellence  across all sectors in Ghana. 

According to organizers, the Awards provides a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of their business sector while recognize the key functions within the sector that promote growth and sustainability. 

Gonga (formally known as Lil K) is one of the highly rated musicians in the North haven’t been consistent in the music industry for almost two decades.

He has over the months dominated the media space, both traditional and social media space with series of controversies and wearing of shirts which has brought massive attention to his craft.

The Com’ve crooner was also recently signed onto the Black Music Entertainment, an Accra-based label to help push his career higher.

Meanwhile, there are other categories such as Outstanding Youth of the year, Outstanding Youth in Technology and Innovations of the year, Outstanding Youth in Academia of the year, Outstanding Youth DJ of the year amongst others.
