NPP Builds Database To Create Jobs For Party Youth In Savannah Region

The New Patriotic Party in the Savannah Region have developed a data system to create jobs in the region.

The system developed by the party’s team of experts will submit a copy to the regional minister’s office, party head office and other avenues of job opportunities.

This was revealed at a Youth Forum organized by the NPP at Damongo in the Savannah Region under the theme “Empowering the Youth Through Job Creation, the Role of Our Leaders”.

Savanna Regional Minister Jibriel Muazu commended the Youth Wing for the well thought innovation for the youth of the party.

Mr Muazu indicated that the party leadership is working to create jobs for them and encouraged the youth to exercise restraint.

“We will go every length as far as job creation in Savannah reg is concern to make sure that we bring to our teeming youth.

For that matter I want to thank you so much just continue to be patient there is a day for all of us.”

According to the party’s Regional Youth Organizer, it is an attempt to provide the leaders with information on the qualifications of the members of the party for job opportunities when the need arises.

Mr Raphael Mahama Akati said the data is cataloged in four categories for easy access.

“The youth wing very integral part of the party in the region. Before there can be victory or success in any part, it is dependent and cooked by the youth.

“The era where the youth will be used for only electioneering campaign and dumped afterwards, we must begin to change the narrative. The narrative should be that the youth were part of the election process and the youth receives the needed reward that comes with it,” he stated.

He also disclosed the party has already acquired parcels of land for the youth to go into farming to harness the full potential of the government’s Planting For Food And Jobs policy.

“That is why we brought the idea that every youth should cultivate some crops. Bole has chosen to do groundnut, Daboya has chosen to do rice,” Mr Akati revealed.

However, he appealed to the leaders for some implements to enable them to undertake the projects.
