The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have chosen CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Hassan Tampuli as its parliamentary candidate for Gushegu constituency.
This comes after the incumbent MP Dr Iddi Ziblim and the sole contender Osman withdrew from the contest.
The NPP will conduct its parliamentary primaries in 163 constituencies with sitting MPs this Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Mr. Tampuli will be officially acclimated as parliamentary candidate for the party in the 2020 elections.
