Voting in the Walewale constituency has been delayed following some new directive from the constituency executives to aid in what they described as peaceful and unified elections.
Voting was scheduled to start at 7am with a directive from NEC to allow the primaries be conducted on electoral area bases.
But according to the Npp constituency executives in the Walewale constituency, that will create disunity in the party, as candidates are likely to determine which electoral areas led to their lost.
They executives therefore decided to have all delegates cast their ballot at one electoral center, the Walewale Senior High school.
Some candidates Express worry about the delayance accusing the election directorate of doing a poor job.
