The Sports Committee at the Tamale campus of University For Development Studies (UDS) in collaboration with Campus Keep Fit Club held the maiden edition of “Wasawasa Walk” on Saturday, 28th September, 2019.
The event was held at Dungu cpus in Tamale under the theme; “Projecting Indigenous Values”.
The event was characterized with a walk from the school premises to the Dungu Junction on the Tamale-Yepei highway admist loud music from the brass band.
Other activities includes distribution of branded T-shirts, Jama session, plank contest, aerobics session and ended with a Wasawasa party on campus.
The students were threatened to the delicious local delicacy made with peels of yam.
