Presidential Staffer donates motorbikes, PA systems to Nanton constituency

Presidential Staffer Mrs Napaga Tia Sulemana has presented 10 motorbikes to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Nanton constituency to aide campaign ahead of the December 2020 polls.

Mrs Tia Sulemana who is native of Nanton also donated give (5) Public Address Systems to the constituency to support the campaign team of the constituency in their outreach programs.

A similar gesture of two (2) bikes was extended to the Savelugu constituency to support incumbent NPP MP Alhaji Muhammed Shamed Gun.

Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mohammed Bantima Samba received the motorbikes and PA systems for the constituency.

He expressed appreciation to Mrs Tia Sulemana for her efforts to ensure the party retains the seat for another term.

According to him “Napaga has proven the adage that what a man can do a woman can do better by this gesture she has presented to us in Nanton today.

“I want to say thank you on behalf of the MP for the area and constituency executives of Nanton,” he stated.

On his part, Member of Parliament for the area, Mohammed Hardi Tufeiru expressed his profound gratitude to Napaga Tia Sulemana for the kind gesture.

He assured the items will put to good use to ensure President Akufo-Addo and him wins convincingly in the upcoming elections.

Background

Mr Hardi Tufeiru wrestled power from former Deputy Trade Minister Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed in the 2016 elections.

He also defeated former National Madara Coordinator Kamal-Deen Abdulai in the NPP parliamentary primaries on 20th June 2020.
