PUSUGA Youth Association set for maiden Home Coming ceremony

The PUSUGA Youth Association (PUYA) will on Saturday, 28th December, 2019 hold its maiden Home Coming ceremony at the Pusuga Junior High School in the Nanumba North District of the Northern Region.

This year’s edition is under the theme; “Subudoo ni Lebginsim” (Peace and Development).

According to PUYA, It envingsages the event will forster unity amongst the people (especially the youth) of the area and attract development.

PUYA also added the event will be held annually and urged members of the district both far and near to be part of the memorable occasion.

Ahead of the main event, members of the association will embark on a clean up exercise Friday 27th December, 2019.

There will also be a football competition later in the evening between old students and current SHS students at the Pusuga Senior High School.

Special guest for the occasion are the Minister of Defence and MP for Bimbila Mr. Dominic Nitiwul, Northern Regional Minister Mr. Salifu Saeed, Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Abdulai Yaquob and Dr. Hafiz Adam the Nanumba Youth President.

Guest speakers are Mr. Aliu Abu Safianu-Municipal Education Director (acting), Mr. Abukari Alhassan, Northen Regional Director of the Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation (GBC), and Mr IddrisuFusheini, Manager, SendFingo-Ghana.
