Health workers at the Ridge Hospital in Accra have tested negative for the Covid-19 virus, management of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (GARH) have announced.
Seven nurses, three doctors and an IT specialist who were put under mandatory quarantine following exposure to Obour’s late father at the Ridge Hospital.
The deceased was admitted for Malaria on 26th March but later tested positive for Covid-19 after showing signs of symptoms of the virus.
The GARH in a statement said “Management of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (GARH) is happy to announce to the general public and staff that all those who were put under mandatory quarantine in connection with Obour’s father, a canfirmed case have tested negative. They include 7 Nurses, 3 doctors and an IT officer.”
