Ghanaian singer Sherifa Gun has been presented with an Honorary Award at the Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards (GAEA) for promoting African values through her music.
It was also to recognize her efforts in promoting tourism in Ghana to the rest od the world through her influence.
The second edition of the event took place over the weekend at the Miklin Hotel in Accra and saw other awardees picking awards in various categories.
The GAEA, organized by Konamah Entertainment is designed to award and honor entertainers in the country and to create a unified front in promoting a healthy relationship amongst industry players.
An elated Sherifa Gun after picking up her award said it was a shocking night of her life.
The Salamutu hitmaker in a Facebook post dedicated the award to the all traditional kingdoms in the Northern regions.
she wrote; God is blessed, a shocking night of my life.
