Ms. Helen Anaba (Rahama), a resident of Ward K, a suburb in the Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region is seeking for help from the general public to raise $20,000 for Kidney transplant in India.
The 29year-old needs the said amount to undergo a kidney transplant abroad or risk loosing her life.
She is currently on dialysis at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) after she was recently diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) after a scann and a specialist Consult.
The former student at the Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery College according to the Social Work Unit at the TTH require a donor and the operation will cost $20,000.
Ms. Helen through the medical social work unít of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (a department which appeals to organizations, religious bodies, co-operative institutions and individuals to help vulnerable patients) is therefore hoping for support in cash or kind to help save her life.
