US-based Ghanaian Social Commentator, Iddrisu Abubakari Sadiq (Zuu Bukali Tia) has admonished followers of the two main political parties (NDC & NPP), especially the youth not to put their lives on the line for politicians.
His comments comes following pockets of violence in the just ended voters registration exercise conducted by the Electoral Commission for the 2020 general elections.
According to Zuu Bukali in a Facebook post, no daughter or son of a politician in Ghana has lost his/her life to political violence.
He added these politicians will used them (youth) especially those from poor backgrounds for the dirty works whiles their wards are schooling in better schools abroad.
“I want to remind you that NO DAUGHTER OR SON of a politician ever died in Ghana due to political violence (per my knowledge). They are schooling abroad, or busy in offices their parents put them in,” he cautioned.
Zuu Bukali who is also an Audit Manager in New Jersey lamented that these young men and women who put their lives on the line for Ghanaian politicians are either not recognised for jobs or lose relations.
“You the nobody; you the one who needs to wait two hours to see your MP; you the one who cannot get close to the president, you are the one who dies, gets injured and lose relations.Think!!” Zuu Bukali concluded.
