Access to quality education in Northern Ghana remains a major challenge due to the infrastructural deficit in most schools.
Students are most of time compelled to sit for classes under the unfriendly conditions making teaching and learning a herculean task.
Inadequate furniture at the Kpalsogu Kura D/A Primary School in Tolon District of the Northern Region has forced pupils to study on the bare floor.
The situation according to some teachers, makes the pupils feel uncomfortable to concentrate when teaching is going on.
The school with over 200 hundred student population has some of its structures not in the best of sharps to accommodate students.
The school cannot boast of a library, computer laboratory, text books, a canteen, toilet facility and other teaching and learning materials.
However, both teachers and pupils are appealing with the relevant authorities and non-government organisations as well as interest group to come to their aid.
