“Chairman Samba, by all indications, is still the man to lead us into the 2024 elections.” The group posited.

It continued;

“We hereby wish to discourage any person or group of persons, who want to play the regionalism card or ethnographic card by saying Chairman Samba should go to his home region, now North East Region to contest the chairmanship race there, to as a matter of urgency, desist from such petty politicking as it will not see the light of day.”

………LOYAL ELEPHANTS………

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and our friends in the media.

We the Loyal Elephants, a pro NPP youth group in Diare formally welcome you all.

We are gathered this afternoon, to first of all, declare openly, our unflinching support for the Northern Regional Chairman of the great New Patriotic Party.

We want to, through this medium assure him of our support for his extension of his mandate for another term.

Ladies and Gentlemen, one does not change a team that wins matches, After emerging victorious in 7th December Elections, we the youth are very convinced that ‘Chairman Prefinance’ as he is affectionately called, deserves another term.

Chairman Samba, is an astute politian, a man who listens to the youth and above all, a team player. Infact, we saw him move round all the corners of this region and visibly interacted with the electorate and convinced many people to vote for the President and the party’s Parliamentary Candidates.

His mobility and leadership style ultimately won us significant votes in the Presidential Elections in a region that is perceived to be an NDC strong hold.

In addition, Chairman Samba’s healthy relationship with Constituency Chairmen and Executives, helped us to take away some seats from the NDC, notably, the Karaga, Tolon, Saboba, to mention but a few.

Ladies and Gentlemen, is not for nothing that Chairman Samba is affectionately, referred to us Chairman Prefinance, he always makes sure that money is not a hindrance when it comes to working for the party. He had in the most recent election, provided logistical and financial support to the party and it’s youth of which we were part. That support actually spurred us on and we were able to embark on our much touted door to door campaign.

Chairman Samba, by all indications, is still the man to lead us into the 2024 elections.

We hereby wish to discourage any person or group of persons, who want to play the regionalism card or ethnographic card by saying Chairman Samba should go to his home region, now North East Region to contest the chairmanship race there, to as a matter of urgency, desist from such petty politicking as it will not see the light of day.

Chairman Samba has performed creditably well and deserves another chance and we support his candidature.

Thank you.
