TV3’s Komla Klutse Renders Apology To Dagbon For “Disrespecting” Yaa Naa

Senior journalist with Accra-based TV3, Komla Klutse has rendered an apology for allegedly disrespecting the newly enskined Yaa Naa of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II.

Mr. Klutse is said to have violated some customs in the Dagbon tradition in his line of questioning when he had the access to the Yaa Naa for an exclusive interview after the historic Investiture last Friday, 25th January, 2919 at the Gbewa Palace in Yendi.

Some unhappy indigenous groups and individuals in Dagbon, mounted intense pressure on Komla Klutse, demanding an apology for what they described as “Uncultured and Unprofessional” behavior by the journalist towards the Yaa Naa.

However, Mr. Klutse on Monday Morning, January 28 took to his official Facebook account and apologized for his actions.

He wrote;

“I am sorry if culturally, part of my interview with the YaNaa offended viewers in anyway .I did not set out to embarrass him nor offend the people of Dagbon.”
