The Coalition comprises opposition political parties such as the NDC, APC, PNC, UPP among others.

The “Baamuyada” ( we won’t agree) demostration is in protest against the Electoral commission’s decision to compile a new biometric voters register for the 2020 general elections.

According to Mr. Thiombiano, the APC is against the against the EC’s decision to “mismanage and embezzle funds through a needless compilation of a New Biometric Voters Register.”

He said “the party is actively participating in all activities of the inter party coalition to resist against the compilation of the New Biometric Voters Register.”

He further added that Ghana does not belong to Nana Addo nor the New patriotic Party therefore as citizens of Ghana and not spectators we need to resist every oppressing decision by the ruling Government, particularly when it has to do with mismanagement and embezzlement of limited tax payers money.

“Indeed it is outrageous to say the least, when one considers that an amount of Eight hundred and thirty three million Ghana cedis (833,000,000) is going to be wasted for a needless replacement of an already credible biometric voters register”
